Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

New Orleans, the years after Hurricane Katrina, and Terence McDonagh (Nicolas Cage) has just been made a lieutenant for a rescue that wrecked his back. The pills he takes for the pain pull him toward a dealer suspected in the killing of a family of African immigrants. Werner Herzog follows McDonagh through the case, a pair of lizards perched on a table, one of them watching him in the dark.
