“The love story of a warrior”

In the Maratha kingdom of the early 1700s, Peshwa Bajirao Ballaad (Ranveer Singh) is a married man and a celebrated warrior when he meets Mastani (Deepika Padukone), a princess who has come to him for help. His wife Kashibai (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and his conservative family, led by his mother Radhabai (Tanvi Azmi), have no place for her. Sanjay Leela Bhansali builds the palaces, costumes and songs on an enormous scale.
