Bank of Dave
“He's taking on the big boys.”
Dave Fishwick (Rory Kinnear), a self-made millionaire in Burnley, decides to open a bank of his own so the town's local businesses can borrow money and stay afloat. To do it he has to win the first new banking license in over a hundred years, which puts him up against the financial institutions of London, including Sir Charles (Hugh Bonneville). Chris Foggin keeps the film close to its working class setting, and Dave stays a plain-spoken man in a sea of suits.
