Baptism of Blood

In São Paulo in the late 1960s, the Dominican convent has become a trench of resistance against the military dictatorship that rules Brazil. Frei Betto (Daniel de Oliveira) and his fellow friars, moved by their Christian ideals, begin to support the guerrilla group led by Carlos Marighella. Helvécio Ratton follows the youngest of them, Frei Tito (Caio Blat), a man of faith now in a fight he never trained for.
