“See Barbarella do her thing!”

Barbarella (Jane Fonda) is sent from the far future by the President of Earth (Claude Dauphin) to find Durand-Durand, a scientist whose weapon could destroy humanity. Roger Vadim, working from Jean-Claude Forest's French comic, sends her across strange worlds in a spaceship lined with fur, meeting odd people at every stop. One of them is Pygar (John Phillip Law), a gentle winged man who becomes her companion on the trip.
