“Some stay for a night. Some stay for a week. Some never leave.”

Tess (Georgina Campbell) books a cheap rental house through Airbnb and arrives late to find another guest already inside. AJ (Justin Long) claims he booked it first, and they decide to share the space rather than argue. When they discover a locked basement door and signs someone else has been living there, what starts as an awkward night becomes a descent into the dark and the wet, where a creature massive and breathing waits below.
