Princess Anneliese (Kelly Sheridan) is a royal who has spent her life being told how to act and who to marry. Erika (also Sheridan) is a pauper who shares her face, and the film, William Lau's first animated musical for Barbie, is a retelling of Mark Twain's story of mistaken identity. Seven original songs carry it, Melissa Lyons singing for Anneliese and Julie Stevens for Erika, and a Nickelodeon premiere in November 2004 followed the video release.
