Barcelona

“Americans. Anti Americans. In love.”

Ted Boynton (Taylor Nichols) is a buttoned-up salesman running the Barcelona office of a Chicago company in the 1980s, more at ease with sales figures than with the city around him. His cousin Fred (Chris Eigeman), a naval officer sent to Spain on a public relations mission for a U.S. fleet, turns up unannounced. Whit Stillman puts the two men, never close, in the same apartment, and Ted has to make room for a relative he can't stand.
