Barefoot

Nobody can say who the barefoot young woman is or why she has slipped out of a psychiatric hospital. Nick Keller (Til Schweiger), the family black sheep who has drifted from one pleasure to the next, ends up responsible for Leila (Johanna Wokalek) when she attaches herself to him. Til Schweiger, who also directed, builds the story around a plain question of whether caring for a fragile person can change someone who has never had to care for anything.
