Basic Instinct

“A brutal murder. A brilliant killer. A cop who can't resist the danger.”

A rock star named Johnny Boz is found dead in San Francisco, and homicide detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) is sent to question his girlfriend, Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone). She is a wealthy crime novelist, and the killing matches one she had already put in her latest book. Paul Verhoeven follows Curran as the questions turn personal, a detective who knows she is the suspect and keeps coming back to her anyway.
