Basilicata Coast To Coast

Nicola Palmieri (Rocco Papaleo) is a musician who sets out on foot with three bandmates, among them Rocco Santamaria (Alessandro Gassmann) and Franco Cardillo (Max Gazzè). They are heading for the Scanzano Jonico Song-Theatre Festival, walking across Basilicata from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Ionian. Papaleo directs, and the road, the unplanned meetings and the festival waiting at the far coast are all that stand between them and showing up empty-handed.
