Basket Case

“The tenant in room 7 is very small, very twisted, and very mad.”

Duane Bradley (Kevin Van Hentenryck) checks into a cheap New York hotel with a large wicker basket he never lets out of his hands. Inside is Belial, his deformed twin brother, cut away from him years ago by doctors against both their wishes. Frank Henenlotter shoots it on grainy, low-budget film, and Duane carries the basket from one doctor's door to the next, a quiet kid with a duty he can't put down.
