Bates Motel

“There's always room for one more.”

The Bates Motel still sits on its highway, and Alex West (Bud Cort), who shared a room with Norman Bates at a psychiatric facility, inherits it when Norman dies. Alex sets out to fix the place up and run it as an ordinary, respectable business, with Willie (Lori Petty) among the people who drift through. Richard Rothstein makes a film about a man who believes a building with that name can simply start over.
