Batman

“A hundred times more thrilling on the screen!”

Bruce Wayne (Lewis Wilson) wants to catch Tito Daka (J. Carrol Naish), the Japanese spy running a sabotage ring out of Gotham's deserted Little Tokyo, and he does it in a cowl with Dick Grayson (Douglas Croft) beside him as Robin. Daka turns American scientists into obedient zombies. Lambert Hillyer directs it as a fifteen-chapter Columbia serial, each installment built to send you back the next week.
