Batman

“Justice is always darkest before the dawn.”

Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) was a child when he watched his parents murdered, and now, as a rich philanthropist, he wants to make Gotham's criminals afraid. He does it at night in a costume, as Batman. Tim Burton sets him against Jack Napier (Jack Nicholson), a deformed madman who calls himself the Joker and takes over the city's underworld, while reporter Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) gets close enough to threaten the secret.
