Batman Begins

“Evil fears the knight.”

Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) returns to Gotham City determined to wage war on the crime that murdered his parents. He finds a mentor in Ducard (Liam Neeson), who teaches him the disciplines of invisibility and fear, and an ally in his butler Alfred (Michael Caine), who helps him build the tools for his mission. Nolan grounds the spectacle in real locations and practical effects, letting the city itself become as much a character as the man moving through it.
