Batman Ninja

(2018)Directed by Jumpei Mizusaki85 min · PG-13Animation, Action, Science Fiction
“East meets west.”

Batman (Koichi Yamadera) wakes in feudal Japan, thrown there along with Gotham's allies and enemies by Gorilla Grodd's time displacement machine. The Joker (Wataru Takagi) and Harley Quinn (Rie Kugimiya) are among those scattered across the same century, and Batman has to find his footing. Jumpei Mizusaki directs it with character designs from Takashi Okazaki, and Kamikaze Douga animates each fight in bold, crowded color.
