“Old heroes never die. They just get darker.”

Gotham has gone ten years without Batman, and a new breed of criminal is tearing through the city. Bruce Wayne (Peter Weller), 55 now, pulls the cape and cowl back on, with Carrie Kelley (Ariel Winter) soon at his side as Robin. Jay Oliva draws Gordon (David Selby) and Wayne as two aging men in a city that has stopped waiting for either of them.
