Bats

“Where do you hide when the dark is alive?”

Sheriff Emmett Kimsey (Lou Diamond Phillips) wants his small Texas town back to normal after its livestock and residents start turning up dead. The zoologist Sheila Casper (Dina Meyer) arrives to study the cause and finds a swarm of genetically mutated bats, far more aggressive than any she has catalogued. Louis Morneau keeps the pace quick and the night scenes dark, with the whole town a target.
