(1973)Directed by Natuk BaytanAdventure

Battal Gazi (Cüneyt Arkın) has taxed the Byzantines and beaten them in battle, and he is feared across the border for it. Knight Andrea (Bilâl İnci) answers with a raid on Battal's village and its banquet hall, and Battal loses his wife and his young son in a single night. Natuk Baytan shoots the sword fights and chases at a hard run, in the rough, grainy film stock of its time.
