Battle for Sevastopol
“One Woman Who Changed The World”
When the German invasion reaches the USSR, Lyudmila Pavlichenko (Yulia Peresild) goes to the Red Army and asks to be sent to the front. The film follows her into the siege of Sevastopol, where she becomes one of the deadliest snipers of the war, a path that later takes her to Eleanor Roosevelt (Joan Blackham). Sergey Mokritskiy builds much of the story around her bond with Leonid Kitsenko (Evgeny Tsyganov), a fellow soldier who shares her war.
