Battle for the Planet of the Apes

“The final chapter in the incredible Apes saga. The most suspenseful showdown ever filmed as two civilizations battle for the right to inherit what's left of the earth!”

Years after human civilization has collapsed, Caesar (Roddy McDowall) leads a village where intelligent apes and surviving humans live side by side. The peace is under strain from Aldo (Claude Akins), a gorilla general who wants a war among the apes, and from mutant humans in a ruined city below. J. Lee Thompson sets it all in a rough wooden settlement, Caesar standing among the apes and the people who work beside them.
