Battle: Los Angeles
“It's not war. It's survival.”
Alien ships descend on Los Angeles, forcing a Marine staff sergeant named Nantz (Aaron Eckhart) to rally a scattered platoon of soldiers into a fighting unit. His squad includes Martinez (Ramón Rodríguez) and Rincon (Michael Peña) as they try to hold ground against the invaders pushing inland. Liebesman stages the invasion as a series of kinetic skirmishes, the camera locked tight to the Marines as they move through rubble and fire.
