Battle of Britain
“Never was so much owed by so many to so few.”
In the summer of 1940, Air Vice Marshal Keith Park (Trevor Howard) has to hold the skies over Britain with too few pilots against the Luftwaffe, and invasion waits across the Channel. Guy Hamilton fills the cast with familiar faces, among them Michael Caine as Squadron Leader Canfield and Curd Jürgens as the German Baron von Richter. Park keeps sending young men up to meet the bombers, and each morning there are fewer of them.
