Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Proxy War

Shozo Hirono (Bunta Sugawara) has broken away from the Yamamori family and started a small outfit of his own. His new circle includes Noboru Uchimoto (Takeshi Katō), a powerful underboss in the rival Muraoka family. This is the third of five films Kinji Fukasaku made in two years, and he shoots Hiroshima with a handheld, grainy restlessness that never lets the camera settle.
