Battleship

“The battle for Earth begins at sea.”

Humanity sends a radio signal into space, and an answer comes back from a place called Planet G: several alien crafts that splash down in the waters off Hawaii. Lieutenant Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch), a weapons officer aboard the USS John Paul Jones, joins an international fleet facing a force far stronger than any of them. Peter Berg puts Hopper beside his brother, Commander Stone Hopper (Alexander Skarsgård), with the Pacific flat and open all around them.
