Battling Butler

(1926)Directed by Buster Keaton77 minComedy, Romance
“Gloves seemed to hit him from all sides!”

Alfred Butler (Buster Keaton) is a wealthy, sheltered young man whose father packs him off to the mountains to toughen up, with a valet (Snitz Edwards) trailing behind him. There he meets the Mountain Girl (Sally O'Neil), whose father and brother have little patience for a soft city boy, and he lets them believe he is a prizefighter. Keaton directs the whole thing at an easy, good-natured pace, with the physical gags landing one after another.
