Beasts of the Southern Wild
“I gotta take care of mine.”
The temperature is rising in the Bathtub, a Delta community at the edge of the world, and six-year-old Hushpuppy (Quvenzhané Wallis) is the first to feel it. Her father Wink (Dwight Henry) is sick, the ice caps are melting, and prehistoric aurochs are coming. Benh Zeitlin films this flooded world at a child's eye level and lets it feel like an adventure.
