Beaufort

“To drown or to float. To live or to die.”

In the final months before Israel pulls out of Lebanon, a young soldiers' outpost sits on a mountaintop, waiting for the order to leave. Lieutenant Liraz "Erez" Librati (Oshri Cohen), twenty-two, commands the bunker, and Joseph Cedar keeps the men inside it with him, under bombs from an enemy they never see. There is no battle to win here, only the question of how a person carries out a mission that is already ending.
