Beautiful Boy

“A true story of addiction, survival and family.”

David Sheff (Steve Carell) is a journalist who has always been close to his eldest son, Nic (Timothée Chalamet), and then watches him go from experimenting with drugs to a devastating addiction to methamphetamine. David goes looking for answers, from doctors and from the people around Nic, but nothing he learns keeps his son home. Felix van Groeningen, adapting the father's and the son's memoirs, tells it from both sides of the same years.
