Becks

“Life. Love. Lyrics.”

Nobody in the Brooklyn music scene could say exactly why it ended, but Becks (Lena Hall) leaves with her guitar after a breakup and lands in her mother Ann's (Christine Lahti) house in St. Louis. Daniel Powell and Elizabeth Rohrbaugh follow her to an old friend's bar, where she plays for tip money while a relationship with Elyse (Mena Suvari) starts to take shape. Going back to the place you came from means finding out which parts of you stayed put.
