Bed of Roses

“He gave her flowers. She gave him a chance.”

Lisa Walker (Mary Stuart Masterson) is an investment banker who keeps her days full and her evenings empty, until a bouquet shows up from a sender who signs no name. The man behind it is Lewis Farrell (Christian Slater), and Michael Goldenberg, in his first film as director, sets his quiet romantic notions against her habit of working through every hour. At bottom it is about whether love can fit inside a life that has no room left for it.
