Bedevilled

“Nothing is more deadly than a woman seeking revenge.”

Hae-won (Ji Sung-won), a worn-down Seoul woman, goes to a remote island hoping to reconnect with her childhood friend Bok-nam (Seo Young-hee). She finds Bok-nam living under the daily abuse of her husband Man-jong (Park Jeong-hak), while the island's old women look away. Jang Cheol-soo's debut is about the harm that comes from everyone nearby agreeing not to see.
