Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld), a newly graduated bee, wants more than the predetermined hive job waiting for him. He ventures into the human world, befriends Vanessa (Renée Zellweger), a florist, and discovers that humans have been harvesting honey for centuries, sparking an outrageous idea: sue the entire human race. Smith and Hickner animate the hive and the city in bright, frenetic color, moving the premise forward with rapid-fire rhythm.
