(2005)Directed by Scott McGehee, David Siegel104 minDrama, Family

In 2005 America, Saul (Richard Gere) and Miriam (Juliette Binoche) share a house with their two children, and the marriage is going quiet. When their 11-year-old daughter Eliza (Flora Cross) shows a gift for spelling, Saul pours himself into coaching her, while Miriam withdraws into a private unraveling. Scott McGehee and David Siegel keep the camera close to the family, so the silence at the dinner table carries as much weight as any word spelled aloud.
