(2003)Directed by Mark Griffiths91 min · GFamily, Comedy

An old mining town hosts Sara Newton (Daveigh Chase) for the summer, and she arrives with Beethoven, the family's big, slobbering St. Bernard. They stay with her Uncle Freddie (Dave Thomas), and the dog soon digs up the missing clue to the hidden fortune of Rita and Moe Selig, which sends the whole town into a treasure hunt. Mark Griffiths keeps it a plain, bright family comedy, built around the dog and a cast of oddball locals.
