Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), now a mother, is scrambling to hold her fractured family together after a death shakes the household. Her teenage daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) is pulling away, and the chaos only deepens when Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), the manic ghost she once knew, claws his way back into her life.
