Before I Disappear

Richie (Shawn Christensen) is at the lowest point of his life when his estranged sister calls and asks him to collect his eleven-year-old niece, Sophia (Fatima Ptacek), from school. The favor stretches into a night spent moving through New York City, and Christensen, who expanded his Oscar-winning short Curfew into this feature, directs it. The film is about two people who barely know each other, finding out in a single night that they can lean on one another.
