Before I Hang

“Beware! When Karloff stops the clock, your hour has come!”

Dr. John Garth (Boris Karloff) is working on a serum meant to slow aging, and his research has put him in front of an ethics board. Nick Grindé follows the experiment as it takes a turn nobody in his circle, including his daughter Martha (Evelyn Keyes), saw coming. Garth stays bent over his work, a doctor whose experiment has pulled him into a confrontation with the very thing he set out to fix.
