Before I Wake

“Fear your dreams.”

Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane) take in Cody (Jacob Tremblay), a quiet orphaned boy, hoping he can fill the space left by a child they lost. Then they notice that whatever Cody dreams while he sleeps takes shape in the room beside him, the beautiful and the terrible alike. Mike Flanagan, who also edited the film, builds the fear out of what a sleeping child might bring into the house.
