Begin Again

“You're only as strong as your next move.”

Dan Mulligan (Mark Ruffalo), a washed-up record executive, hears Gretta James (Keira Knightley) singing on a New York curb. She's a songwriter abandoned by her touring musician boyfriend, stranded in the city with nowhere to go. Dan proposes producing her album recorded live on the streets, and what begins as a business proposition becomes a second chance for them both.
