Behind Convent Walls

Sister Veronica (Marina Pierro) lives among the nuns at the convent, where Abbess Flavia Orsini (Gabriella Giacobbe) keeps order. Walerian Borowczyk watches these women in their spare hours, when the daily routine of prayer loosens and appetites take over. Sister Clara (Ligia Branice) crosses the stone corridors, and the walls close around her.
