Behold a Pale Horse

Manuel Artiguez (Gregory Peck) fought as a guerrilla in the Spanish civil war and has spent twenty years in French exile. Now his mother is dying in his old home town, and he wants to see her once more. Fred Zinnemann sets this against Captain Viñolas (Anthony Quinn), the police officer who has waited all that time with a trap at the hospital, hoping Artiguez will come.
