Being 17

“Adolescence is the only time when you learn something at all”

Two boys in the same classroom at a school in the Pyrenees cannot pass each other without a shove or a fight, and neither will say why. Damien (Kacey Mottet Klein) lives with his mother Marianne (Sandrine Kiberlain), a doctor, while his father is posted abroad. When Thomas (Corentin Fila) comes down from his family's mountain farm to stay with them, André Téchiné leaves the two of them alone in one house, Marianne at the hospital and the school week running on.
