Being Human

(1994)Directed by Bill Forsyth122 min · PG-13Drama, Comedy, Fantasy
“For Hector, history has a way of repeating itself.”

The story begins in prehistoric times, then jumps ahead through four lifetimes centuries apart, and the same soul wears a different life each time. Robin Williams plays Hector, a man given a new name, a new century and a new set of people in every episode, with Theresa Russell as The Storyteller. Bill Forsyth moves between the stories in a loose, wandering way and lets the ordinary details of each age carry the film.
