Being John Malkovich

“Ever wanted to be someone else? Now you can.”

Craig Schwartz (John Cusack) is a puppeteer who can't make a living at it, so he takes a filing job at a firm where the ceilings are only half-height. Behind a cabinet he finds a small door, and it leads into the head of the actor John Malkovich (John Malkovich). Spike Jonze follows Craig, his wife Lotte (Cameron Diaz), and his coworker Maxine (Catherine Keener) as each of them wants more time inside another man's life than he can spare.
