“The American Dream is waiting just around the corner.”

Zana (Zamand Taha) and his younger brother Dana (Sarwar Fazil) shine shoes to get by, homeless and on their own in Iraq. After catching a glimpse of Superman through a hole in the wall of the local cinema, they decide to reach America and find him. Karzan Kader follows the two boys as they set out with almost nothing, and every step toward that dream puts the only family either of them has at risk.
