King of The Guards

Şaban Özgüneş (Kemal Sunal) is a night guard in a small town, a man with little money and less standing who keeps getting leaned on by the village headman and the shopkeepers. When he finally pushes back, word gets around that his uncle works at the Ministry of the Interior. Osman F. Seden keeps the film at street level, and Kemal Sunal's guard stays in the frame in his plain uniform, with the same worried face.
