“Based on a true story.”

Soledad Deza (Dolores Fonzi) is a lawyer in Tucumán, in Argentina's conservative northwest, and she wants to get a young woman out of prison. That woman is Julieta (Camila Plaate), jailed and accused of infanticide after a medical emergency, with a court already against her. Fonzi, directing herself, lets the case take shape through files, hearings and the women who gather around it, and the film rests on how Soledad and Julieta come to trust each other.
