“Three enchanting storybook adventures!”

Why would a castle full of enchanted objects need storybooks at all? Belle (Paige O'Hara) and the Beast (Robby Benson) fill the long hours with three tales, and Lumiere (Jerry Orbach), Cogsworth (David Ogden Stiers) and Mrs. Potts (Anne Rogers) wander in and out of each one. Directors Dale Case and Cullen Blaine give the Beast a jealous candelabra's girlfriend, a quarrel to forgive and an injured bird to look after, and he has to learn to be gentle with all of them.
